Higher Heights for America (“Higher Heights,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) respects and is committed to protecting the privacy of users of our websites, applications, and other Internet-based services (collectively, “Online Services”). This Privacy Policy explains what information of yours will be collected by Higher Heights when you use our website at HigherHeightsforAmerica.org and all other Online Services that link to this Privacy Policy, how your information may be used, and how you can control the collection, correction and/or deletion of your information. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy. What information do we collect?

- enter a contest, sweepstakes, or promotion;

The information that you provide us may include, but is not limited to:

- as required by law, such as to comply government reporting obligations, a subpoena or other legal process, or a court order;
- when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary (a) to protect our rights, the integrity of the Online Services, or your safety or the safety of others, or (b) to detect, prevent, or respond to fraud, intellectual property infringement, violations of our Terms of Use, violations of law, or other misuse of the Online Services; and
- to service providers, advisors, and other third parties to the extent reasonably necessary to proceed with the negotiation or completion of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.
In addition, we may share information that is not personally identifiable, such as reports on user demographics and traffic patterns, with third parties, including researchers.
Any personal information or content that you voluntarily contribute to the Online Services, such as when you “Share Your Story” or comment on an article, becomes available to the public, as controlled by any applicable privacy or website customization settings. If you remove such information or content, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages, or if other users have copied or saved that information.
Links to Others Websites and Applications
The Online Services may contain links to third-party websites and applications for your convenience and information. Higher Heights does not control those third-party websites and applications or their privacy practices, which may differ from ours, and we do not endorse or make any representations about those third-party websites and applications. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the collection and use of your information by third-party websites and applications that are not under our control, and such information is not governed by this Privacy Policy. Remember that we cannot protect your privacy once you leave the Online Services, so when you visit third-party websites and applications, we encourage you to review their privacy policies and be careful about the information you submit or share.

NationBuilder
Higher Heights uses the NationBuilder platform to organize our community of members, supporters and prospects. You can read more about that company and its features and polices at NationBuilder.com. When you visit HigherHeightsforAmerica.org, NationBuilder may send one or more cookies – a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser and lets NationBuilder help you log in faster and enhance your navigation through HigherHeightsforAmerica.org. A cookie does not collect personal information about you. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive after you close your browser. Persistent cookies may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the site. Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser’s directions.
